A dynamic mix of tower defense, settlement building, and old school action, Ash & Adam's Existential Treads is about a mini action game about things exploding and people hugging.
It's the post-post-apocalypse and people are tired of being bummed out. Use your scrappy tank to tear down the decaying remnants of the old world and use what resources you can find to build a new community. People that have been surviving out in the wastes will happily join your settlement, pitching in however they can; nothing happens without cooperation. As your settlement grows, nature will return to the once-barren landscape. But make sure you keep your guard up... the Noise — the rogue AI that destroyed the world last time — is still around, and it will make attempt after attempt to wipe your settlement off the island. Build defenses like gun towers, mortars, bomb factories, and traps to survive the attacks, and then upgrade your tank to take the fight to the Noise strongholds.

Ash & Adam's Games is a two-piece game band. Ashley Peter (Desktop Dungeons Rewind, Sledders) and Adam deGrandis (Monaco: What's Yours is Mine, A Monster's Expedition) worked together on a contract project in 2021 and realized they shared sensibilities. A love of retro-flavored gameplay, energetic art and music, and games that have a ton of heart. Games that aren't afraid to be a little obnoxious but still manage to say something worth saying. They resolved to prototype some ideas when the contract wrapped... nothing serious. They'd just take some time and enjoy the craft. That bit of casual collaboration turned into a mini studio that spans the Atlantic; Ash lives in central Finland while Adam lives in the northeastern US. They chose to name the studio with their names in an effort to avoid any attempt at cool-guy branding. They're just two friends making games, and there's no need for pretense.
Along the way, they met Chris Ramusiewicz of Oselka Sound. He's been an irreplaceable collaborator, composing the incredible soundtracks in both GOBSMACKED and Existential Treads.
